These Terms govern the KDrama SL Android app, installed iPhone PWA, website, and related services. By using them, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16, or use the Services with valid parent/guardian involvement where law permits. You must be legally able to accept these Terms in your location.
2. Guest access, accounts, and sessions
Some features work without an account. Google or verified-phone sign-in enables account features such as profile, session, trial, subscription, and eligible cloud synchronization. Keep credentials and OTPs private. Account sessions may be limited to one active app/session under current security settings, and suspicious or abusive access may be blocked.
3. Use of the KDSL software and service
We grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the official KDSL app/PWA and its interface for personal, non-commercial use. This permission applies to the KDSL software and service interface; it is not a claim that KDSL owns or can grant rights in third-party dramas, movies, episodes, videos, trailers, subtitles, posters, or artwork. You may not redistribute media or APKs, sell access, bypass technical controls, scrape the catalog, reverse engineer protected services, automate abusive requests, or use downloads outside the app’s intended offline player.
4. Content and feature availability
Titles, episodes, subtitles, qualities, downloads, catalogs, ads, and features vary and can be corrected, restricted, or removed. All dramas, movies, episodes, videos, trailers, subtitles, posters, artwork, and related marks available through KDSL come from third-party sources. KDSL does not create, own, or claim rights in that material; rights remain with the respective rightsholders. Requested playback may pass through independent hosting, storage, cache, or CDN providers as a technical delivery step. That delivery does not change the material's third-party status or transfer ownership or redistribution rights to you. KDSL branding and original software remain protected separately.
5. Advertising and Ad-Free
Core access is free to install and use with advertising. An active Ad-Free entitlement currently suppresses eligible Android Unity interstitial/rewarded ads and eligible PWA Monetag sponsor/direct-ad gates. It does not promise that all promotions disappear: KDSL-managed custom campaigns, sponsored catalog placements, promotional notifications, and Firebase in-app messages may remain.
When marketing-website advertising is enabled, the home page may show a Monetag Vignette Banner. Selecting the Android download or iPhone web app may arm an OnClick Popunder, which can open a third-party sponsored destination after a later eligible page click. Blocking an ad or an ad-load failure does not block the official APK download or iPhone web app. Because this public website does not receive your signed-in app or PWA entitlement, website ads run independently of the in-app Ad-Free entitlement.
Trials are limited to eligible users and may require approval. Monthly Ad-Free arrangements are currently handled manually through the in-app WhatsApp flow. The price, currency, duration, activation timing, and any refund/cancellation terms must be shown or confirmed in writing before payment, together with the payment recipient/provider and applicable dispute contact. The app does not collect card details or charge an automatic recurring payment unless an offer explicitly says so. Do not pay if the merchant, cancellation/refund, or renewal terms are unclear. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
6. Downloads and platform storage
Downloads are for supported titles and personal offline playback inside KDSL. They may have quality, count, storage, account, ad, or availability limits. Android data is removed if you uninstall or clear storage. iOS may evict PWA browser data when storage is constrained or Safari data is cleared. We cannot guarantee permanent offline availability.
7. Android packages and updates
Install only the versioned package linked from our Android Release pageand verify its SHA-256 and signing information. Raw Gradle output, mirrors, modified packages, and files with mismatched signing certificates are not official. V1 users should install a verified bridge update over the existing app rather than uninstalling it.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Interfere with playback, security, App Check, signed URLs, rate limits, or access controls.
- Upload malicious reports, impersonate another person, or make knowingly false legal claims.
- Use the Services to violate copyright, privacy, consumer, computer-misuse, or other law.
- Probe or exploit systems outside the responsible-disclosure rules on our Security page.
9. Service changes, suspension, and termination
We may maintain, change, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Services, and may suspend abusive or risky access. We aim to use remote notices where practical, but emergency security action may be immediate. You may stop using the Services and request cloud-account deletion.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, that every title or device will work, or that an APK is risk-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KDrama SL is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by outages, third-party services, unsupported devices, user-cleared storage, or unauthorised packages. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Copyright complaints
Rightsholders can use our Copyright Complaint Policy. These Terms do not create or substitute for licences to distribute media, artwork, or subtitles.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Sri Lankan law, subject to mandatory consumer and other rights in your jurisdiction. Contact contact@kdramasl.sitefor questions or disputes.
