Data Deletion

Cloud records and files stored on your phone/browser are separate. Follow both sections if you want to remove everything you control.

Request cloud-account deletion

1. Use the contact form and choose “Privacy & Data Request”, or email contact@kdramasl.site.
2. Write from the email or phone-linked contact you used for KDSL where possible. Include your Firebase user ID only if it is already visible in your profile/support flow.
3. We will request proportionate verification. Never send a password or OTP.
4. After verification, we will delete or anonymise eligible Firebase Authentication identity, profile, sessions, synced settings/lists, messaging tokens, analytics linkage, ratings/reports tied to the user, and related account data, subject to the exceptions below.

What may be retained

We may retain minimum records needed for an active dispute, security/fraud prevention, copyright handling, trial abuse prevention, payment/tax duties, backup integrity, or another legal obligation. We will limit retained data and remove it when the reason ends. Aggregated statistics that can no longer reasonably identify you may remain.

Clear Android data

1. Open Android Settings → Apps → KDrama SL → Storage.
2. Choose “Clear storage/data” to remove app-local progress, lists, notifications state, preferences, and downloaded media.
3. Uninstalling also removes app-private local data. Do not do this before installing an update if you want to preserve V1/V2 local data.

Clear iPhone PWA data

1. Remove the KDSL icon from the Home Screen.
2. In Settings → Safari, remove website data for live.kdramasl.site (wording varies by iOS version).
3. This permanently deletes browser downloads, offline subtitles, progress, caches, and local preferences for that origin.

Timing and confirmation

We aim to acknowledge verified requests promptly and complete them within the period required by applicable law. Provider backups may persist until their normal protected backup cycle expires, and a lawful hold may delay erasure. We will explain a lawful delay or refusal where required.
